The Thames Valley
Network now has its own web site. See the Links
page for more details. The Thames Valley Network has started a project
called “The Riverside Project”. The object of this project is to walk and
study the Thames Path from its source to the eastern end of the region at
Windsor in order to gain information on the Thames and its environs for
presentation at the final Study School in October 2011. It is an opportunity
to get the U3As from the Thames Valley to work together. There are areas of interest and study for lots of
groups – Walking, Art, History, Gardening (plant study), Photography and
maybe even Poetry (writing poems about the area?). If your group would like
to get involved please go on to the Network web site http://www.u3atvnetwork.org.uk/index.html

(In Case of Emergency) If you own a mobile telephone it is a good idea to

has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or
the trunk). v Hidden Imagine your mobile battery
is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# your mobile will restart with
this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This
reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time. v How to disable a
stolen mobile phone? To check your Mobile phone's
serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear
